Buxton Books Talk
Tuesday, Jun 28, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Buxton Books (160 King St, Charleston, SC)
On the last Tuesday in June I'll be joining the good folks at Buxton Books in downtown Charleston for a special talk based upon my newest book The Lost Southern Chefs: A History of Commercial Dining in the Nineteenth-Century South. The discussion will draw upon the material in the book to tell the story of restaurant dining in Charleston from the 1820s straight through today. Refreshments and some tastes of Charleston cuisine will be provided.

This is a FREE event, but RSVPs are encouraged; please email rsvp@buxtonbooks.com to reserve your spot.
