November is BBQ Festival Month!

November is shaping up to be quite the month for barbecue festivals. I'm heading out west to the Texas to participate in the 2022 TM BBQ Fest, which is taking place on the streets of downtown Lockhart. I'll be signing books as part of the event's Texas Book Festival (yes, they let a South Carolinians sneak in there somehow) along with Aaron Franklin, Jess Pryles, Kevin Bludso, Adrian Davila, José Ralat, Mando Rayo, and Daniel Vaughn.

Two weekends after that, I'm helping Aaron Siegel and Taylor Garrigan of Home Team BBQ and Anthony DiBernardo of Swig 'n Swine stage the 2nd Annual Holy Smokes Lowcountry Barbecue Festival right here in Charleston. We've got a fantastic lineup of 30+ pitmasters from across the country, and it all goes to benefit Hogs for the Cause and the Ronald McDonald House.

And after that we roll right into Thanksgiving . . . Time to break out the eatin' pants.
